Youth will be served (at least we expect it to) as FC Dallas travels to Utah today to battle conference rivals Real Salt Lake.
Both teams made headlines a week ago with the number of Homegrown players that played in their games. RSL started six and brought in a seventh in their 2-1 loss to LAFC, while FC Dallas continued to start their usual five in their 2-1 win over Colorado Rapids.
FC Dallas notes:
Last time against RSL. The Utah side got the better end of things last year in the two meetings and RSL won the second meeting of the season 2-0 in July. That game also featured a league-record 11 HGPs in the match.
Key player for FC Dallas: Paxton Pomykal - If this is going to be the HGP Derby, then there is no one else that I want to lead the charge than Paxton.
