Today’s #Crew96 Starting XI vs. @FCDallas
Coverage begins at 1:30pm ET on @FoxSportsOH#CLBvFCD pic.twitter.com/HhsN2fLVzI
Following the first win of his coaching career, Luchi Gonzalez takes his FC Dallas side on the road for the first time in 2019 as they visit the Columbus Crew SC.
Both teams are coming off 2-0 wins in Week 2, as the Crew won in New England while FC Dallas downed conference rivals LA Galaxy.
FC Dallas notes:
Last time against Columbus. The annual meeting in 2018 was in Frisco, where the two sides played to a 0-0 stalemate.
Key player for FC Dallas: Paxton Pomykal - We saw a week ago how important he can be for this attack. Columbus will present a few more issues and challenges for the young attacker than LA did a week ago but if he can do what he’s been doing this season, FCD should get points on the road here.
FCD against Porter - Caleb Porter and FCD have a long history with one another during his time with the Portland Timbers. In 18 regular season matches against the Porter-led Timbers, Dallas posted a record of 7-6-5 with a plus-nine goal differential.
