FCD rakes in some allocation.

MLS: New York City FC at FC Dallas Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports

FC Dallas has traded forward Dominique Badji to Nashville SC in exchange for $150,000 in 2020 General Allocation Money (GAM) and $175,000 in 2020 Targeted Allocation Money (TAM).

FC Dallas could receive an additional $75,000 in GAM if Badji meets certain performance metrics while with Nashville SC.

The 27-year old scored eight goals and recorded four assists in 38 appearances for FC Dallas. He was acquired from the Colorado Rapids on July 23, 2018 in exchange for Homegrown midfielder Kellyn Acosta. He scored 24 goals and 12 assists in 91 regular season matches for the Rapids.

Badji made his FC Dallas debut on Aug. 12, 2018 and scored the lone goal in the 2-1 loss against Seattle Sounders FC.

So, in a way FC Dallas comes out nicely on this one. Up to $400k in allocation feels like a massive win in this deal. While Badji was a good locker room guy, he struggled at times to find a place with this club.

What do you make of this deal? Happy to see Badji get moved this offseason?
