Forbes’ annual MLS team valuations are out, and FC Dallas finds themselves near the bottom of the list. Atlanta United came out on top for the second consecutive season.

FC Dallas came in 20th out of the current 24 clubs in MLS, while being valued at $220 million.

Per Forbes, the average MLS club is now worth $313 million, which is a 30% growth from last season. The year-over-year growth outpaces rising team values in the NBA (13%), NFL (11%), MLB (8%) and NHL (6%).

Atlanta retained their top spot with a value of $500 million, up from $330 million this time last season. The LA Galaxy remain second at $480 million while LAFC jump to the top three at $475 million. Seattle ($405 million) and Toronto ($395 million) came in fourth and fifth, respectively.

Clubs coming in below FC Dallas were Canadian sides Vancouver ($215 million), Montreal ($210 million), Columbus Crew ($200 million) and the Colorado Rapids ($190 million).

What do you make of these values placed on each club? Are you surprised to see FC Dallas below the likes of Houston ($280 million) or even newcomer FC Cincinnati ($285 million)?
