Lineups

For the fourth time in the last several years, FC Dallas and the Seattle Sounders will square off in the MLS Cup Playoffs, with hope of advancing to the Western Conference Semifinals.

FC Dallas secured the 7th seed in the Western Conference thanks to a Decision Day hammering against Sporting KC, where they scored six goals in a blowout win to punch their playoff ticket for the first time under Luchi Gonzalez. Seattle, on the other hand found themselves securing the second seed in the West with a win over Minnesota.

The winner faces either Real Salt Lake or the Portland Timbers in the Western Conference Semifinals Oct. 23 at 9:00 pm.

FC Dallas notes:

This season against Seattle. FC Dallas has not lost to the Sounders in the 2019 season. FC Dallas won against the Sounders 2-1 in June, and finished their match in Seattle with a 0-0 draw at CenturyLink Field.

Key player for FC Dallas - Michael Barrios - The attack will likely live and die with him on this day. If he disappears, so will the chances of them scoring.
