FC Dallas selected three players in the third and fourth rounds of the MLS SuperDraft on Monday.
Eduvie Ikoba a forward from Dartmouth College was selected 15th in the 3rd round (65th overall in the draft).
Sam Ebstein another forward, from the University of California was selected 15th in the fourth round (87th overall).
Lastly, FC Dallas took Dylan Castenheira a goalkeeper from Colombia with the 16th pick in the 4th round (88th overall). This one may be the only one of note from today’s draft as Castenheira signed a USL deal with Atlanta United 2 just last week. FC Dallas can potentially get something out of this pick as they now have his MLS player rights. Should Atlanta need a goalkeeper badly at some point this season, this could come in handy. If not, its just a weird pick.
Ikoba and Ebstein will now look to make the FC Dallas roster in preseason, or they’ll end up with North Texas SC.
