FC Dallas has loaned defender Moises Hernandez to USL side San Antonio FC. He is eligible to be recalled by FC Dallas at any point this season.

San Antonio will face Phoenix Rising FC on Saturday, September 8 at 7:30 PM at Toyota Field in San Antonio.

The 26-year old signed with FC Dallas on July 31, 2018 after two seasons with the Guatemalan first division club Comunicaciones where he appeared in 46 matches over two seasons.

Since rejoining FC Dallas he has yet to make an appearance for the club but has made the 18-man roster three times.

Hernandez is one of several players out on these type of flexible loans. Most recently, FC Dallas has seen some success with this by sending Jesus Ferreira and Brandon Servania to Tulsa in the USL.

What do you make of Hernandez getting put back out on loan this early in his return to FC Dallas? Are you disappointed that he couldn’t leap over the likes of Maynor Figueroa in the depth charts?
