Red card! New York down to ten men
It was a nasty tackle. Well-deserved and nice to see VAR working well for once. pic.twitter.com/v3V4rzwjUp

All eyes may be on Russia right now with the World Cup but MLS is back in action this weekend. FC Dallas returns to league play with their solid 8-1-5 record on the season as they visit the New York Red Bulls.
Both sides are coming off losses last weekend in the US Open Cup. Dallas lost on the road at Sporting KC, while New York lost to the Philadelphia Union.
FC Dallas notes:
Last time against New York. Last fall the two sides met in their lone regular season matchup at Toyota Stadium in a wild 2-2 draw. Jacori Hayes picked up a red card in the first half. Dallas had to climb their way back into the match twice to pick up the point.
Key player. Reto Ziegler - With New York’s reliance on Bradley Wright-Phillips, it will be on Ziegler and Matt Hedges to make sure that BWP and his team-high 10 goals are kept in check.
