MLS: MLS SuperDraft Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

FC Dallas announced today that Adonijah Reid has been loaned to Ottawa Fury FC for the entire season.

Reid spent part of last year with Ottawa, playing in 12 matches for Fury FC and even scoring his first professional goal for his efforts.

Prior to joining the professional ranks, the Brampton, ON native shined League1 Ontario in 2015, scoring 20 goals in a season for ANB Futbol, winning the Golden Boot award and the Young Player award for that year.

A team with many exciting youth prospects, it is excellent to see FC Dallas send their players out on loan to prove themselves and get some minutes under their belts. Hopefully, “King Nijah” can have an excellent year and make the most of his minutes in Canada.

Ottawa Fury FC will begin its fifth season on March 17 when the club visits the Independence in Charlotte.
