Rankings Recap: No big change for FC Dallas following draw

The 1-1 draw against Portland didn’t sway the polls much.

MLS: Portland Timbers at FC Dallas Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports

The fourth week of the MLS season is in the books and once again FC Dallas is off this coming weekend. As we put a cap on last weekend, let’s look back on what the various power ranking polls have FCD following their 1-1 draw to Portland.

MLSSoccer.com (This week: 13, Last Week: 13)

Comment: Roland Lamah remains hot, but Dallas gave up an equalizer against a previously-reeling Timbers side. The defense is admittedly almost totally remade, but questions remain if this year’s group will turn out to be an upgrade in the long run.

ESPNFC (This week: 16, Last Week: 16)

Comment: Up a man at home with a one-goal lead, Dallas only managed a draw against the Portland Timbers. Roland Lamah continues to be a bright spot for the Texan club through three games.

Soccer America (This week: 11, Last week: 11)

Comment: FCD couldn’t hold a 1-0 lead with the teams even and failed to capitalize when Portland went down to 10 men in the 75th minute.
