FC Dallas has loaned Homegrown defender Jordan Cano to its USL affiliate, OKC Energy FC.

He joins fellow rookies Francis Atauhene and Ema Twumasi in the USL.

All three will be available for the USL side this weekend. OKC Energy FC opens its 2018 season vs. Tulsa Roughnecks FC tomorrow, Saturday, March 17 (7 PM), at Taft Stadium in Oklahoma City, Okla.

Cano is eligible to be recalled by FC Dallas at any point this season. All three players have been seen in training this week with FC Dallas as they prepare for the Seattle Sounders on Sunday afternoon.

Cano was the 21st Homegrown signed by FC Dallas. The Plano native started 75 games for SMU from 2014 to 2017. He was named the American Athletic Conference Defender of the Year in 2017.

What do you all make of this loan? Happy to see FC Dallas actually loan out some players early on this season to OKC?
