Welcome to another week of Big D Soccer’s coverage of your favorite players with ties to FC Dallas, the FCD Academy, and the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.

Ramiro is back with the senior team, Weston looks ready to be back, and Fabian returns to action for Trabzonspor.

Weston McKennie (AP - Schalke 04/Bundesliga): Weston finally looks to be on the mend:

Shaft Brewer Jr. (AP - RB Leipzig U19): Shaft looks to still be trying to make an impression:

Keaton Parks (DFW - Benfica/Primeira Liga): Keaton parks trained all week with the senior team, but ended up playing with Benfica II on Sunday, against visiting Academico Viseu. Keaton played the full 90 minutes, but it was a bad day for his team, as Benfica II lost 5-1.

Emerson Hyndman (DFW - AFC Bournemouth): Emerson Hyndman continues to remain in limbo, with no end in sight.

Fabian Castillo (FCD - Trabzonspor/Super Lig): Fabian suited up Saturday, at Genclerbirligi. Fabian came on in the 57th minutes, as both teams were tied, and Trabzonspor was in need of an offensive spark. Fabian provided that spark, but the attack was unable to break through, and the match finished 0-0.

Ramiro Funes Mori (DFW - Everton/Premier League): Ramiro saw action with the Everton FC reserves for a second consecutive week, getting the start, and looking like his old self.

Everton has two weeks before their next league match, so the team headed to a warmer climate looking to improve their league form. The team brought their entire senior squad, and Ramiro is part of that squad:

Mexico - Apertura Torneo

Rogelio Funes Mori (DFW - Monterrey/Liga MX): Rogelio started Sunday, at Toluca. Rogelio played the full match, but Monterrey had to play the majority of the match a man down, and lost 2-1.

Rogelio started Wednesday, against visiting Cruz Azul. Rogelio got his team on the board first:

Monterrey was unable to hold on to the league for long, and had to settle for a 2-2 draw.

The loss and draw, combine to drop Monterrey to 4th place on the Liga MX Clausura Table.

Alejandro Zendejas (FCD/AP - Atletico Zacatepec/Ascenso MX): Alex started for Atletico Zacatepec on Saturday, at Celaya. Alex played 70 minutes, as Atletico Zacatepec would go on to win 1-0.

The win sees Atletico Zacatepec move to 12th place in the Ascenso MX Clausura Table.

Nicholas Hagen (AP - Municipal/Guatemala), Blas Perez (FCD - Municipal/Guatemala): Blas and Nick both started Sunday against visiting Guastatoya. Both played the full match, and Nick got his 3rd clean sheet of the Clausura in a 1-0 win for Los Rojos.

Blas and Nick both started Wednesday, at first place Antigua GFC. With both teams tied at 1 a piece, Super Raton put Los Rojos ahead:

Municipal was unable to hang on though, and surrendered the winning goal in the 92nd minute. The last second goal by Antigua GFC, resulted in a 3-2 loss for Municipal.

The win and draw, combine to drop Municipal to 4th place in the Liga Nacional Clausura Table.

Moises Hernandez (FCD/AP - Comunicaciones/Guatemala): Moises started Friday, at Deportivo Petapa. Moises played 83 minutes, and Los Cremas lost 2-1.

Moises started Wednesday, and played 42 minutes against visiting Coban Imperial, in a 1-0 win for Los Cremas.

The loss and win, combine to see Comunicaciones to 5th place on the Liga Nacional Clausura Table.
