FC Dallas is in Arizona today for the first of three games this week (one being a reserve game tomorrow). Today they’ll take on the New England Revolution in the first MLS-test of the preseason.

International Duty: None

Injury Report: Francis Atuahene (fractured ulna)

How to watch

Kickoff: 12:00 PM

Venue: Tucson, AZ

Projected lineups: Oscar Pareja has been working with a similar group these last couple of games in the preseason as he continues to search for his go-to starting eleven to start the year. The big question we all have will be who will start on the wings? Last week he brought Michael Barrios off the bench for the second half of a game and used Tesho Akindele in place of veteran Roland Lamah. Will newcomer Santiago Mosquera get some minutes too (that may all depend on his visa and transfer certificate getting in on time)?

Defensive watch. So far we’ve seen Pareja use a three-man backline in the second half of most of the preseason games up until this point. Will he go for it from the start in this one or continue to mix in that formation in the second half of games? Either way, the defensive group needs to gel a little more before the start of the season.

What are you drinking?: It is a day game, in the middle of the week. Enjoy responsibly.
