FC Dallas sign Czech Striker Zdenek Ondrasek

The Cobra may be the best nickname for a player that we've seen in some time.

As we first reported of the rumor here, FC Dallas has found a new striker to bring into the club in the form of Czech striker Zdeněk Ondrášek.

Ondrášek has played in the Polish first-division for Wisla Krakow, his recent form has seen him score 12 goals in 20 matches (all comps) this year, with two assists to boot. Ondrášek is a big target striker, with a score at all costs type bull-ish mentality that could remind fans of Blas Perez.

There are some concerns regarding this signing, one his age (29), so he’s not young and not flippable in the market but it does mean Zdeněk Ondrášek is in his prime. He was also injured a bit from 2016-2017, dealing with an Achilles injury but based on his production so far this season, that may not be an issue.

Ondrášek will take up an international spot and will be a TAM player. He’s also nicknamed “The Cobra”, which really is all you need/want to know about FC Dallas’ newest striker.
