Matt Hedges restores the lead for #FCDallas late on, heading in from close range after Barrios flicked on Urruti's corner. They haven't created much from open play, but have been very effective on set pieces.#VANvFCD #VWFC #FCD #MLS pic.twitter.com/nFfZ9YeEE1— #ThankYouDeuce (@JogaBonito_USA) September 24, 2018
Kamara ties it up
Both teams are coming off tough results last week as FC Dallas picked up a 0-0 draw at home to Columbus, while the Caps are coming off a loss to rivals Seattle.
FC Dallas notes:
Last time against Vancouver. The two sides met earlier this season in Frisco where we saw a pretty wild 2-2 draw thanks to some questionable calls from the center official late in the match to help give the Caps a road point.
Key player. Maxi Urruti - He has gone cold in his last couple games but in order to help secure this playoff push, he has to step up even more here on the road.
Gotta score first. Dallas has a winning percentage of .842 (14-1-4) when scoring first – ranking 7th in MLS. Vancouver (9-0-2) ranks second with a winning percentage of .909 when scoring first.
