Squad Selection: Does FC Dallas need to make changes on the road against Vancouver?

Last week was a dud from the attack, but will some changes be necessary?

MLS: Columbus Crew at FC Dallas Kevin Jairaj-USA TODAY Sports

We are getting closer to the weekend, which means it is time to get ready for the next FC Dallas game by discussing who we want to see in the lineup come Sunday against the Vancouver Whitecaps.

Last weekend Oscar Pareja put out what we’re starting to see as his top lineup going into the playoff run. But one big hiccup happened in the first half as Matt Hedges went out with a concussion. He has been training some this week but he is still going through the league’s concussion protocol, so he is questionable at best for Sunday (I do think the extra day help potentially have him back but we’ll certainly see). Maynor Figueroa came on and performed pretty well in the 45 minutes he was put there for against Columbus.

The big question in my mind is, if Hedges is cleared by the concussion protocol, do you throw him back out there this weekend or give him one more full week to recover?

The same goes for spicing up the attack by adding in someone like Roland Lamah, who is back in training. Does he get put back into the lineup over Santiago Mosquera or even over someone like Maxi Urruti?

Here is what we know in terms of availability for Sunday’s game (some of the loaned players could end up not being on loan, those are fluid each week):

OUT: Kris Reaves (foot fracture)

QUESTIONABLE: Matt Hedges (concussion)

LOAN: Anibal Chala (L.D.U. Quinto), Adonijah Reid (Ottawa), Brandon Servania (Tulsa), Jesus Ferreira (Tulsa), Moises Hernandez (San Antonio)
