Squad Selection: How does FC Dallas bounce back on the road in Seattle?

New, comments

On the road, on turf, with redemption in mind is a tricky place to be in for Oscar Pareja.

MLS: San Jose Earthquakes at FC Dallas Tim Heitman-USA TODAY Sports

The weekend is quickly approaching here as FC Dallas is getting ready to take on the Seattle Sounders.

Last week didn’t go well against San Jose as Oscar Pareja didn’t get to work in newcomers like Dominque Badji or Pablo Aranguiz. He also saw guys like Reggie Cannon come up with hamstring issues during the game.

Now that FCD is going on the road, and playing on turf, you hope that Pareja may rest some players in order to keep those hamstrings from picking up any more damage. Do you go with a 4-4-2 this week and hope to catch the Sounders on the break? Or do you expect to see an more attacking style look that will push Seattle?

Here is what we know in terms of availability for Sunday’s game (some of the loaned players could end up not being on loan, those are fluid each week):

QUESTIONABLE: Santiago Mosquera (hamstring), Reggie Cannon (hamstring)

LOAN: Anibal Chala (L.D.U. Quinto), Adonijah Reid (Ottawa), Brandon Servania (Tulsa)
