Squad Selection: Can FC Dallas rebound at home against Houston?

The quick turnaround makes Saturday all the more interesting.

MLS: FC Dallas at San Jose Earthquakes Kelley L Cox-USA TODAY Sports

After Wednesday’s rough night in San Jose, FC Dallas gets back at it tomorrow night at home against the Houston Dynamo in the final leg of the Texas Derby this season.

Oscar Pareja kept some key players at home on Wednesday, including Reto Ziegler, Roland Lamah and Jesse Gonzalez. Resting those players did not pay off as the defense gave up four goals in the loss to the Quakes.

Dallas will get back Carlos Gruezo from suspension tomorrow night, so that will help matters out in the midfield. Will Ziegler come back from his “rest” to help lock up El Capitan this year? One can only hope.

But out side of that, what kind of offensive group do you want to see put out there on Saturday night? Santiago Mosquera looked good on Wednesday but is he ready to be back in the starting lineup? Will we get another game with Maxi Urruti and Dominque Badji up front?

Here is what we know in terms of availability for Saturday’s game (some of the loaned players could end up not being on loan, those are fluid each week):

OUT: Kris Reaves (foot fracture), Francis Atuahene (calf strain)

LOAN: Anibal Chala (L.D.U. Quinto), Adonijah Reid (Ottawa), Brandon Servania (Tulsa), Jesus Ferreira (Tulsa)
