FCD goes with more rotation up front

August wraps up for FC Dallas tonight as they are in the Bay Arena getting set to take on the San Jose Earthquakes.

Both teams are coming off disappointing results during MLS Rivalry Week. FC Dallas gave up a late goal in Houston to tie the Dynamo 1-1, while San Jose gave up a two goal lead in nine minutes to lose to Vancouver 3-2.

FC Dallas notes:

Last time against San Jose. The two sides met just a few weeks back in Frisco where FC Dallas dropped their first home game in nearly a year to the Quakes. San Jose exposed the Dallas back line and Jesse Gonzalez made a few blunders in route to a 3-1 win.

Recent history against San Jose. FC Dallas has struggled against the Quakes lately, going 1-2-4 in the last seven matches against San Jose. Last year, the Quakes managed to squeeze out points on late goals.

Key player. Dominque Badji- The one lone goal in Seattle was nice but at some point he is going to have to find his way in this offense and make his mark for FCD.
