Squad Selection: Do any newcomers see action for FC Dallas against San Jose?

After a slew of moves these last two weeks, the lineup could have a new look to it this weekend at home.

MLS: FC Dallas at Sporting KC Peter G. Aiken

Here we are, a new month and a home game for FC Dallas this weekend to dive into. FCD hosts the San Jose Earthquakes this weekend in a battle between the top team in the West against the bottom team in the league.

Last week, Oscar Pareja’s side finally got a win in Kansas City after seven years, so they’ll look to avoid the let-down game in this one at home against a weaker opponent. We saw a 4-4-1-1 type look last week in KC, with eyes on the future as Dominique Badji looks to get settled into the team. He arrived in Dallas on Tuesday evening, so he’s likely an option off the bench for Pareja this weekend.

The big question may center around whether or not we’ll see Pablo Aranguiz this weekend or not. He has his visa and arrived back in Dallas on Thursday.

If you are Pareja, do you stick with a 4-4-2 type look or go a little more adventurous with a 4-3-3 again?

Here is what we know in terms of availability for Saturday’s game (some of the loaned players could end up not being on loan, those are fluid each week):

OUT: Santiago Mosquera (hamstring)

LOAN: Anibal Chala (L.D.U. Quinto), Adonijah Reid (Ottawa), Brandon Servania (Tulsa), Francis Atauhene (OKC Energy), Ema Twumasi (OKC Energy), Jordan Cano (Tulsa)
