Here is your match thread for tonight’s game.

MLS: Los Angeles FC at FC Dallas Kevin Jairaj-USA TODAY Sports

2-1 as Adama Diomande pulls one back for LAFC

2-0 to FC Dallas after Lamah’s goal. Everything going FCDs way right now.

And we’re back. Let’s finish this thing out and get 3 points.

FC Dallas goes up 1-0 through a Reto headed goal from an indirect free kick!!

FC Dallas going with the a 4-3-3 again this evening while bringing Mauro back into a more centralized role.

Walker Zimmerman gets the start against his old club with his first appearance in Frisco this year.

The busy stretch rolls on for FC Dallas as they head into the weekend with a home match against LAFC.

Dallas is coming off a big midweek win in California over the LA Galaxy, while LAFC is fresh off a 1-1 draw at home last weekend against DC United.

FC Dallas notes:

Last time against LAFC. It wasn’t that long ago when these two met for the first time in LA as they tied 1-1. Maxi Urruti was the hero in that one for FCD with a second half goal to tie it up.

Key player. Mauro Diaz. It has to be Diaz in this one. When he has been on the pitch lately, his work rate has been excellent and his production has been off the charts in the attack.

Halftime lead. Since 2015, FCD has a record of 46-8-24 if leading or tied at half.

Lack of set piece success in 2018. FC Dallas has not scored on a set piece this season. FC Dallas scored five set piece goals in 2017, but did not score on a set piece until the eighth match of the 2017 season (this will be FCD’s 13th match of the 2018 season).
