Squad Selection: What is FC Dallas’ best look against LAFC?

What kind of tactical changes does Oscar Pareja make this week?

MLS: FC Dallas at New York City FC Brad Penner-USA TODAY Sports

The weekend is drawing closer here as FC Dallas is closing in on their weekend trip to the West Coast as they take on Los Angeles FC for the first time.

For the last few weeks Oscar Pareja has been experimenting with his lineups and formations. Going against an attacking-minded team like LAFC, we could see more emphasis put back on the wings with pace. That could mean Mauro Diaz is brought back into the starting lineup as well as someone like Maxi Urruti.

The big news could be seeing Kellyn Acosta getting his first minutes of the season as he made the 18-man roster last weekend in New York City. Will he start or come off the bench? Time will tell.

Let’s just say, your guess for who starts in those front six spots is as good as mine.

OUT: Brandon Servania (Compartment Syndrome surgery), Paxton Pomykal (knee), Jesus Ferreira (Core Muscle Surgery)

QUESTIONABLE: Maynor Figueroa (MCL strain), Jesse Gonzalez (finger)

LOAN: Anibal Chala (L.D.U. Quinto), Francis Atuahene (OKC Energy), Ema Twumasi (OKC Energy), Adonijah Reid (Ottawa), Jordan Cano (OKC Energy)
