LAMAH!! 2-0 FCD

URRUTI!! 1-0 FC Dallas

Lineups: Diaz returns to the lineup

Following a two-game road trip, FC Dallas is back at home for the next two weeks as they first take on Zlatan Ibrahimovic and the LA Galaxy.

LA is coming off a tough 3-2 loss last week in Houston, while FCD snagged a point at LAFC.

FC Dallas notes:

Last time against LA. The two sides met at the very start of 2017 and the very end of 2017. Both times Dallas came out on top, with the October meeting ending in 5-1.

Swede vs Swiss. According to the club’s game notes, defender Reto Ziegler will face off against forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who he’s faced before when they were both in Italy’s Serie A. While Ziegler was with U.C. Sampdoria from 2006-2011, Zlatan was with Inter Milan (2006-2009) and AC Milan (2010-2011). The first time they played against each other was Sept. 26, 2007; Inter Milan beat Sampdoria 3-0 and Zlatan scored twice. Ziegler and Zlatan played to a 1-1 draw on Nov. 27, 2010; this time Zlatan was with AC Milan.

Defense in the final 15. FC Dallas is the only MLS team to not allow a goal in the final 15 minutes of a match. FC Dallas leads the MLS with only seven goals against, Seattle Sounders rank second with nine goals against. LA Galaxy and FC Dallas have both allowed 103 shots.

Key player. Matt Hedges. The captain is going to have to keep his defense organized against a solid LA attack. If he is able to keep the likes of the Dos Santos brothers and Zlatan at bay, then FC Dallas should have a good shot at getting points against the Galaxy here.
