Squad Selection: What is FC Dallas’ best look against the LA Galaxy?

What kind of tactical changes does Oscar Pareja make this week?

MLS: FC Dallas at Los Angeles FC Gary A. Vasquez-USA TODAY Sports

We’re getting closer to the end of the week and as always on Big D Soccer it is time to discuss the lineup for the next match as FC Dallas returns home to face the LA Galaxy.

We’ve discussed a bunch of times lately at how Oscar Pareja is juggling his lineup, particularly in the front-six with his attack. As the team begins a two-game home stand, we probably should expect more of the same. That and the recent return of Kellyn Acosta also makes things equally tough for Papi to figure out his starters for Saturday.

The back line seems set but it could be anyone’s guess who will lineup in front of them. Do you finally bring Mauro Diaz back into the lineup for these two home games or continue to bring him off the bench? Do you shift the formation in any way?

Either way, here is what we know right now in terms of player availability going into Saturday.

OUT: Paxton Pomykal (knee)

LOAN: Anibal Chala (L.D.U. Quinto), Francis Atuahene (OKC Energy), Ema Twumasi (OKC Energy), Adonijah Reid (Ottawa), Jesus Ferreira (Tulsa Roughnecks)
