This will be a battle of one of the top teams in the league against the last unbeaten team. One that will certainly show us a thing or two about Oscar Pareja’s club.
How will Pareja handle his lineup this week? After going with a 4-4-2 the last two games, that produced two shutout wins, one has to imagine he’ll stick with that look in some form. This does potentially mean brining Mauro Diaz off the bench yet again. As we’ve seen in recent weeks, Pareja has rotated his front six in a big way, and has seen some success in the process.
Let’s just say, your guess for who starts in those front six spots is as good as mine.
Here is what we know about availability going into Sunday’s game. Not a ton has changed really in the injury report. Kellyn Acosta and Jesse Gonzalez are back in training but are still question marks in terms of game fitness.
OUT: Brandon Servania (Compartment Syndrome surgery), Paxton Pomykal (knee), Jesus Ferreira (Core Muscle Surgery), Maynor Figueroa (MCL strain)
QUESTIONABLE: Kellyn Acosta (sports hernia surgery), Jesse Gonzalez (finger)
LOAN: Anibal Chala (L.D.U. Quinto), Francis Atuahene (OKC Energy), Ema Twumasi (OKC Energy), Adonijah Reid (Ottawa), Jordan Cano (OKC Energy)
