Squad Selection: Does FC Dallas shift formations against New England?

New, 7 comments

Oscar Pareja has choices to make with his lineup this weekend.

MLS: Colorado Rapids at FC Dallas Tim Heitman-USA TODAY Sports

The weekend is nearly here as FC Dallas will hit the road for the first time in 2018 when they take on the New England Revolution this weekend.

The big take on any trip to New England is how to do you handle the turf? Do you rest Mauro Diaz or put him out there in hopes that nothing bad will happen. Also, after last week, what do you do with Cristian Colman? Do you start him or continue to bring him off the bench? Also, do you change up the formation any?

There are a lot of question marks going into this one for sure.

Here is what we know about availability going into Sunday’s game.

OUT: Brandon Servania (Compartment Syndrome surgery), Paxton Pomykal (knee), Jesus Ferreira (Core Muscle Surgery)

QUESTIONABLE: Kellyn Acosta (sports hernia surgery), Maynor Figueroa (MCL strain)

LOAN: Anibal Chala (L.D.U. Quinto), Francis Atuahene (OKC Energy), Ema Twumasi (OKC Energy), Adonijah Reid (Ottawa), Jordan Cano (OKC Energy)
