Ballgame - 1-1
That is unfortunate for FCD not to get one past Portland in the late stages.

A fairly lack luster start to the second half for FC Dallas as Blanco ties it up.

Coming off a big 3-0 win over the Seattle Sounders, FC Dallas returns to action on Saturday to host another Cascadia team in the Portland Timbers.
Portland is coming off a bye week after getting hammered 4-0 in the second week of the season at New York.
FC Dallas notes:
Last time out. It feels kind of crazy to think that the last meeting with the Timbers was almost a year ago in April when the two clubs met in Frisco. Both sides traded goals in a wild 2-2 draw.
Score first. FC Dallas head coach Oscar Pareja is 4-0-1 all-time against Portland Timbers when FC Dallas scores first.
March success under Pareja. FC Dallas is 12-1-4 in March since Oscar Pareja became head coach in 2014. The only loss was on the road at Houston in 2016.
Key player. Maxi Urruti. Anytime you have Maxi going against his old club, he is worth keeping an extra eye on just because of his motivation to score on them.
