Lineups are in

The playoffs are here again as FC Dallas is set to host the Portland Timbers tonight in the Knockout Round at Toyota Stadium.

Both teams comes into this match off losses on Decision Day this past Sunday. Portland used a b-squad in their loss at Vancouver, while FC Dallas dropped points on the road at Colorado.

FC Dallas notes:

Last time against Portland. The two sides met twice earlier this season, both ending in draws.

Return to playoffs. FC Dallas is 14-21-8 in postseason games and 3-3-3 since Oscar Pareja became head coach in 2014.

Spooky feeling. This is FCD’s second game ever on Halloween. FCD played the LA Galaxy on October 31, 1999 in a Semifinal match, losing 2-1 at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena.

That short rest feeling. Playing on four days of rest or less this season, Dallas is 4-1-1.

Key player for FC Dallas: Michael Barrios - He had his moments last week against SKC but Dallas will need a monster game from him to lock up that number two slot.
