Squad Selection: What lineup makes sense for FC Dallas on Decision Day?

New, 6 comments

The final game of the season is here, so who gets the start?

MLS: Sporting KC at FC Dallas Kevin Jairaj-USA TODAY Sports

The final game of the regular is nearly here as FC Dallas is getting ready for a Decision Day clash with Kellyn Acosta and the Colorado Rapids.

Last week didn’t go as planned for Oscar Pareja’s club as they dropped three point at home. to Sporting KC. Now FC Dallas has to get a win in Colorado in order to land one of the top spots in the Western Conference (they could get in with a draw but they’d need a lot of help).

The lineup looked good on paper last week but SKC was able to neutralize the middle of the park and limit Dallas moving forward into the attack. Does Pareja do anything different this weekend against the Rapids? Or does he make whole-sale changes to help pick up three points?

Here is what we know in terms of availability for Sunday’s game (some of the loaned players could end up not being on loan, those are fluid each week):

OUT: Kris Reaves (foot fracture), Cristian Colman (torn ACL)

LOAN: Anibal Chala (L.D.U. Quinto), Adonijah Reid (Ottawa), Moises Hernandez (San Antonio)
