Fabian Castillo (FCD - Trabzonspor/Super Lig): Fabian suited up Sunday, for the first time this season, as Trabzonspor hosted Genclerbiligi. Fabian did not play, as Trabzonspor won 3-1.

Mexico - Apertura Torneo

Rogelio Funes Mori (DFW - Monterrey/Liga MX): Rogelio started Saturday against visiting Necaxa. Rogelio played the full match, as Monterrey won 1-0.

Monterrey is off to a fantastic start, setting a blistering pace to the start of the Apertura. Monterrey has yet to lose a match across all competitions this season, with an 11 game unbeaten streak, that includes 8 victories. In those 11 matches, Monterrey has scored a combined 21 goals, and only allowed 5 goals, with 6 clean sheets.

With the win, Monterrey sits atop the Apertura Table, with a 4 point lead after 8 matches of league play.

Alejandro Zendejas (FCD/AP - Atletico Zacatepec/Ascenso MX): Alex started Saturday against visiting Celaya, and played the full match. With a big match awaiting Zacatepec on Tuesday night, they fielded a less than full strength line-up and lost 1-0.

The loss sees Atletico Zacatepec drop to 10th place in the Ascenso MX Table.

Alex suited up Tuesday night in Copa MX action at Tigres UANL, in a huge match that would decide which of the two team would advance to the next stage of Copa MX. Alex came on in the 60th minute, with Zacatepec holding on to a 1-0 lead. Atletico Zacatepec would go on to stun the home crowd, with a 3-1 victory that sees them advance to the next round of Copa MX.

Adonijah suited up Saturday at the Rochester Rhinos, and came on in the 65th minute with Ottowa trailing 1-0. While the stats show Reid had an average day at best, they fail to show tbe energy and fire that Reid breathed into the attack. The stagnant Ottowa attack suddenly came alive and tied the match. Ottowa thought they had the game winner, but an offsides flag wiped the goal away. Ottowa played to a 1-1 draw.

HH&A’s Game of the Week: Fluminense vs. LDU Quito, Thursday 5:15pm

Anibal Chala and LDU Quito march on in the Copa Sudamericana, and encounter Brazilian giants Fluminense. Fluminense arrives on a run of bad form, winless in their last 3 matches, and having only won once in their previous 6 matches. This is a huge match for both teams, and it should be a doozy!
