Power Rankings: FC Dallas fails to stop dropping

FCD is all but out of the Top 10

MLS: FC Dallas at Sporting KC Peter G. Aiken-USA TODAY Sports

Welcome to another week of the MLS Power Rankings. There's no nice way to say it, but following the 2-0 loss at Sporting Kansas City, FC Dallas simply continues to drop like a rock.

Completely out of the top 10 by all rankings, except for a single hold out.

Before we get to the MLS Power Rankings, let's take a look at what the Global Rankings look like:

#320 on the list for FCD.

MLS - Ranking 10 (Last Week 9)

Comments: One more terrible result away from mashing that panic button.

ESPNFC - Ranking 11 (Last Week 9)

Comments: FC Dallas can still make a run, but they have to start scoring goals again.

Soccer America - Ranking 13 (Last Week 11)

Comments: FCD is the other good team sinking like a stone but the problem is at the other end. In the last four games it has scored one goal and been blanked three times (obviously). Against SKC, FCD maintained only 38.1 percent of possession and managed only two shots on goal.

Planet Futbol - Ranking 13 (Last Week 9)

Comments: This officially is no longer the team that won the Shield and Open Cup last year. Now FCD has lost three of four for the first time in 15 months and its scored just one goal over those four games. Houston and Columbus are on deck this week.

The Score - Ranking 6 (Last Week 5)

Comments: FC Dallas is enduring a bit of a slide, having gone without a win in its last four matches. As a result, the Hoops now sit in the precarious fifth spot in the West.

So what do you think? Are the sites right in their rankings? Are there 319 better clubs than FCD.
