The weekend is almost here as we head into our Friday links.
// FC Dallas //
No Diego Valeri, no problem? Not so fast, the Timbers still have a lot of other threats that can cause issues for FC Dallas tomorrow.
Go with a 4-2-3-1, or a 4-4-2? Tough call against one of the top attacks in the league.
We got together with Stumptown Footy ahead of tomorrow’s game to get a better sense of what the Timbers bring to the table.
You know, I’m not even upset at all to hear Jesse Gonzalez say things like that. He’s got every right to want to play for Mexico.
Two really good midfields go head-to-head tomorrow night.
Papi lets us know what his plans are going into Saturday's game.
You gotta think that Maxi Urruti is dying to get a goal against the Timbers here in this one.
// MLS //
We know they’ll probably rely heavily on guys like Darlington Nagbe and Sebastian Blanco.
Everything on and off the field has been nothing short of impressive so far out of Atlanta.
Hopefully we don't see similar issues with FCD's kit sponsor anytime soon.
There are plenty of FC Dallas players on this list. I do see how people can think that Mauro Diaz (when healthy) is a steal.
Goalkeeping in this league has always been interesting to me. There is a lot of good and sometimes like we've seen lately, a lot of bad.
Fans have closer access to MLS players than most leagues in this country. So crazy stuff tends to happen. But the way things are set up in KC do lend themselves to more incidents like this one.
You can add Indy to the list of potential expansion cities with red flags on their bids right now. This doesn't kill their bid altogether but it certainly doesn't help it.
