And then there was one. FC Dallas beat Sporting KC on Saturday to remain the only unbeaten team in MLS.

Yesterday we dove into Saturday night’s win with a couple big points from the game. Carlos Gruezo was a monster while getting Michael Barrios off the bench was a different change of pace.
If you watched even a couple minutes of Saturday’s game, you would quickly see how damn good Greuzo was.
This story ran before Saturday’s game but its certainly worth another share if you haven’t been able to read about the two Bazan brothers on the FCD coaching staff.
I’m always a big fan of the club’s post game show and this week they got Kellyn Acosta to join to discuss the win.
If the targets weren’t on FCD’s back already, they certainly will be now that they are the only unbeaten club in MLS.
Easily one of the most underrated players in MLS. In my book, if you are going to spend big money on a player that isn’t a forward or attacking midfielder, you spend it in his position like FCD did.

Kind of an ironic headline in my opinion but whatever. Week 8 in MLS was certainly and entertaining one to say the least with Sebastian Giovinco scoring goals again and Seattle starting to look like their old self.
Throw in the Portland win in Vancouver, the Houston’s win over San Jose and then Minnesota’s win over Colorado and you have a wild west happening again here.
Does it really? Let’s wait and see them pull a win off in Toronto, Seattle, Dallas or even on the road against a bad LA team before we dub them for real.
If you haven’t noticed which team may be the worst in MLS right now, you may have guessed it wrong (it’s not Minnesota).
Uh, it’s been broken for a long, long time.
The more I see about Drogba and Phoenix, the more I want to dive into some sort of expansion power rankings this week on BDS.
