Date set for FC Dallas’ semifinal first leg against Pachuca

Just days before the regular season home opener, FC Dallas takes on Pachuca.

MLS: Arabe Unido at FC Dallas Ray Carlin-USA TODAY Sports

FC Dallas will host Liga MX’s 2016 Clausura Champions Pachuca in leg one of the Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions’ League Semifinal at Toyota Stadium on Wednesday, March 15. The match is scheduled to kick off at 7 p.m. CT.

Due to the ongoing Toyota Stadium renovations, only general admission tickets will be sold with access to the Budweiser Beer Garden and East sideline. In other words, it will look just like it did in the opener against Arabe Unido.

FC Dallas qualified for its first trip to the CCL semifinals by defeating Arabe Unido, 5-2, on aggregate. Four-time CONCACAF Champion, Pachuca beat Saprissa, 4-0, on aggregate, to advance. MLS side Vancouver Whitecaps FC will face Liga MX side Tigres in the other semifinal.

This game comes right in between the club’s second game of the season in Kansas City and the home opener against New England on March 18.

While it is a tad early to think about this one, how do you all feel about this game and series?
