This is a new segment with video coverage of all FC Dallas loaned players’ touches on the ball with OKC Energy FC. Here is some footage of Coy Craft in Oklahoma City FC’s 3-1 loss to Swope Park Rangers on Saturday:
This was OKC Energy's first game of the 2017 season. The lone Energy FC goal came off a header from Coady Andrews in the first half. There is no official word yet of any other potential FCD-OKC loans besides Coy Craft, but there will surely be more throughout the season.
Coy Craft came into the match with 20 minutes left to play as a left winger. He showed some skill on the ball and had one good shot at goal, but wasn't able to produce any serious attacking plays. The 19-year-old will have more opportunities with OKC before he heads to South Korea in May with the US U20s for the U20 World Cup that will take place this summer.
The next OKC Energy fixture is next Saturday on April 1. They will be playing another away game against the Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC, and we’ll see if Coy Craft gets any minutes, either as a starter or off the bench.
