Squad Selection: How will FC Dallas handle Pachuca?

Given that the starters were mostly rested in Kansas City, we should see the 4-4-2 again?

Our busy week continues here as FC Dallas takes on Pachuca in the CONCACAF Champions League semifinals first leg.

It shouldn’t be a surprise to many of you tomorrow night when FC Dallas lines back up with their main starting eleven against Pachuca. Oscar Pareja opted to rest many of his starters on Saturday in Kansas City like Walker Zimmerman, Maxi Urruti, Chris Seitz and Javier Morales.

But does Pareja throw out another wrinkle in his lineup that we haven’t seen before? We know he experimented a lot in preseason with different looks before landing on a 4-4-2 with Cristian Colman up top with Urruti.

Here is what we do know in terms of availability. A lot of this is similar to what we saw before the first game last week.

OUT: Mauro Diaz (Achilles), Victor Ulloa (sports hernia), Ryan Hollingshead (neck), Anibal Chala (sports hernia)
