Both Jacori Hayes and Paxton Pomykal looked good in their debuts for FC Dallas on Saturday, giving us some serious hope for things to come.

Naturally the big thing we’re all talking about from Saturday was Pomykal. The kid looked like the real deal out there.

While most around the league may ignore this result, there is certainly plenty to be proud of when you consider everything.

This one came down on Friday, which I have to believe was a driving force in the lineup juggle from Oscar Pareja. Pachuca will come in pretty rested on Wednesday.

Doyle: All wrong from the Loons and more in week 2 | MLSSoccer.com

Minnesota has now given up 11 goals in two games. By the way, FCD plays them next month at home following the trip to Pachuca. I’m pretty confident a U-18 team from FCD could do well against Minnesota right now.

The more I look at NYCFC, the more I think they actually do have what it takes to contend in the East this season. Maxi Morales is the real deal too.

We had snow in Minnesota | SB Nation

Not only was it the coldest game in league history, it was easily one of the snowiest. I do enjoy the fact that we’ll likely get one of these games every season now.

Something is definitely going on in Houston these days as they picked up another win over the weekend. Maybe they’re drinking the water again (which comes down from us!). San Jose is also looking good early on this year too.
