We’re almost back to some regular season soccer here as FC Dallas is close to starting the 2017 season.
Today we’re diving back into our community predictions with a look at one of the newer players on the roster in winger Roland Lamah.
The 29-year old Belgian looks to bring his experience in Europe to MLS. So far in the preseason we’ve been able to get a glimpse of what he can bring to the table. We think he can be the Fabian Castillo replacement, at least we certainly hope he can be.
Historically, European players in MLS need some transition time to get acclimated to the play in the league and the travel involved. Because of that, I do think there will be some transition time for Lamah to get used to life in MLS and with FC Dallas. In the past, he hasn’t been a huge goal scorer for the teams he has played on but I do think he’ll be a big part of this offense and what Oscar Pareja likes to do with his wingers.
Just as we did with our prior community predictions, we ask you that as we look for games played, started, goals scored and assists.
25 games played, 23 starts, 6 goals, 5 assists
