Weston hits a speed bump on his road to success, Hyndman continues to waste away at Bournemouth, and Castillo finally hits the field for Trabzonspor.
Weston McKennie (AP - Schalke 04/Bundesliga): Weston started Friday against visiting Bayer Leverkusen, his 3rd start in a row for Schalke 04. Weston had 1 tackle, 1 interception, 2 clearances, 1 shot on goal, 50 touches, and 75.6% passing on 41 pass attempts. Weston played 91 minutes before being subbed out, as Schalke 04 gained a 1-1 draw.
It has since been reported that Weston suffered an ankle sprain at the end of the match, and will be out of action for the next 2 weeks.
The draw keeps Schalke 04, 9th place in the Bundesliga Table.
Keaton Parks (DFW - Benfica II/Segunda Liga): Keaton started Saturday at Academica. Keaton played the full match, as Benfica II won 2-1.
The win sees Benfica II move to 10th place in the Segunda Liga Table.
David Texeira (FCD - Vitoria Guimaraes/Primeira Liga): David did not suit up Sunday, as Vitoria lost 1-0 at Belenenses.
The loss drops Vitoria Guimaraes to 9th place in the Primeira Liga Table.
Emerson Hyndman (DFW - AFC Bournemouth/EPL): Emerson continues to mainly feature with the reserve teams for The Cherries. Emerson started yesterday for The Cherries U21 squad against Norwich City FC. Emerson got an assist on the match winning goal, as Bournemouth got the 3-2 victory.
Fabian Castillo (FCD - Trabzonspor/Super Lig): Fabian finally returned to action for Trabzonspor on Sunday at Turkish giants Besiktas. Fabian suited up and subbed in to the match in the 63rd minute. Fabian was one of 3 subs that entered the match with Trabzonspor trailing 2-1, and they had an immediate impact, as Trabzonspor would earn a 2-2 draw.
Fabian looked a little rusty on his passes, but reminded everyone how dangerous he could be with the ball at his feet. Fabian had 3 successful Dribbles (beating a player 1 on 1), which was tops on both teams, but also showed some rust in failing 3 other Dribble attempts. Expect Fabian’s minutes to increase as he regains his form.
The draw keeps Trabzonspor 9th place in the Super Lig Table.
Mexico - Apertura Torneo
Rogelio Funes Mori (DFW - Monterrey/Liga MX): Rogelio started Saturday at Queretaro, and played the full match, as Los Rayados left with a 2-2 draw.
The draw keeps Monterrey undefeated on the season and atop the Liga MX Table.
Alejandro Zendejas (FCD/AP - Atletico Zacatepec/Ascenso MX): Alex started Friday at Potros UAEM, and played the full match. Atletico scored a stoppage time goal, to salvage a 2-2 draw.
The draw sees Atletico Zacatepec climb to 9th place in the Ascenso MX Table.
Omar Gonzalez (DFW - Pachuca/Liga MX): Omar started Saturday against visiting Necaxa. Pachuca had to settle for a 0-0 draw.
The draw climbs to 12th place in the Liga MX Table.
Central America & South America
Blas Perez (FCD) & Nicholas Hagen (AP - Municipal/Guatemala): Blas and Nick both started Saturday at 3rd place Xelaju. Municipal would go on to post a 2-2 draw.
The draw, combined with results around the league, sees Municipal take sole possession of 1st place in the Liga Nacional Table.
After having begun the season with back to back defeats, Municipal currently finds itself in a 10 match unbeaten streak.
Moises Hernandez (FCD/AP - Comunicaciones/Guatemala): Moises suited up Saturday against visiting league leaders Deportivo Petapa. Moises came on in the 76th minute, as Los Cremas secured a 3-1 victory.
After a rough patch, Los Cremas how now won their last 2 matches by a combined 8-2 score. The win vaults Comunicaciones up to 5th place.
Anibal Chala (FCD - LDU Quito, Loan/Ecuador): Anibal started Friday at Universidad Catolica. LDU Quito would go on to win 3-2 on an 85th minute goal.
The victory is LDU Quito’s 3rd league win in a row, and vaults LDU Quito to 6th place in the Primera A Table, with a match in hand.
Major League Soccer
Lee Nguyen (DFW - New England Revolution): Lee started Saturday against visiting red hot Atlanta United FC. Lee played the full match, and The Revolution had to settle for a 0-0 draw. New England outplayed AUFC, but were unable to overcome a “Man of the Match” performance by Brad Guzan, who had 5 saves.
The draw sees New England remain 4 points out of the final Eastern Conference playoff spot in 8th place, with 3 matches remaining.
Greg Garza (DFW - Atlanta United FC): Greg started Saturday in the 0-0 draw at New England, but had to be replaced in the 27th minute due to suffering an injury.
Greg suffered a left hamstring injury that will see him miss 4 to six weeks.
Greg did not suit up for Wednesday’s 3-2 home loss against Minnesota United FC.
Atlanta United FC is currently 3rd place in the Eastern Conference.
Dillon Powers (DFW - Orlando City SC): Dillon suited up Saturday, but did not play in the 0-0 draw against visiting FC Dallas.
The draw sees Orlando remain 4 points out of the final Eastern Conference playoff spot in 10th place, with 3 matches remaining.

Adonijah Reid (FCD - Ottawa Fury FC):
Adonijah suited up Sunday against the visiting Charleston Battery. Reid subbed in only 7 minutes into the match, following an injury to a starter. Reid finished out the match at right mid, and had a solid showing. Ottowa had to settle for a 1-1 draw. The draw is Ottowa's league leading 13th draw of the season.
Corben Bone (DFW - FC Cincinnati):
Corben started Friday at the Charlotte Independence. Cincinnati won 1-0.
Stephen McCarthy (DFW), Devin Vega (AP), Connor Presley (AP - San Antonio FC):
Only Connor suited up Saturday at The Tulsa Roughnecks. Connor subbed in for the final minutes of extra time, as San Antonio FC won 2-0.
Jacori Hayes subbed in for Tulsa in the 56th minute.
Also, Walker Hume has been a regular starter for Orange County, and started yesterday in a 3-1 victory over Sacramento Republic.
Connor Doyle (DFW - Puerto Rico FC): Connor started yesterday at the Indy Eleven. Connor played the full match in a 2-0 loss.
