The all important World Cup Qualifiers are almost here for the United States as today manager Bruce Arena has named his 26-man roster for the camp leading up to the two decisive games.
The US has two games left in the final round of qualifying where they will host Panama before traveling to last-place Trinidad & Tobago. The US controls their own destiny in qualifying as they look to go to an eighth straight World Cup.
In Orlando, the US hosts Panama which sits one point ahead in the table. The US is 11-1-6 all-time against Los Canaleros and has never lost to them in World Cup Qualifying, going 5-0-2 in seven matches. Four days later, they visit last-place Trinidad & Tobago.
FC Dallas Homegrown midfielder Kellyn Acosta has been named to Arena’s roster. He is the lone FCD representative at this time.
This FIFA International break will run Tuesday, October 2 through Tuesday, October 10.

Figueroa and Honduras (2-3-3, 5th place) are also looking to qualify for next year’s World Cup. Los Catrachos travel to Costa Rica (4-1-3, 2nd place) on Friday, October 6 at 9 p.m. CT. Honduras hosts Mexico on Tuesday, October 10 at 7 p.m. CT.
