Well, 2017 isn’t starting off the way we might had hoped that it would for FC Dallas. Reports out of Central America today suggest that one of the newcomers to the club didn’t pass a physical over the weekend.
What does this mean exactly for Jose Salvatierra and for FC Dallas? We’ll have to wait and see as the club will explore their options here. A failed physical could mean that the loan with Alajuelense will not be completed and the club will be left to find another option to replace him. Or this could be something that the club will work with Salvatierra to overcome.
Salvatierra was brought in by the club during the offseason as they tried to beef up their defensive depth at the full back positions.
The 27-year old was brought in on loan from Alajuelense. He has been capped 30 times by the Costa Rican National Team since 2011.
Once we have more on this story we will update you all.
