Squad Selection: What kind of rotation does FC Dallas do against Orlando City?

New, comments

Now that the slump is over, what kind of lineup do you use this weekend on the road?

MLS: Colorado Rapids at FC Dallas Tim Heitman-USA TODAY Sports

Now that FC Dallas has ended their summer slump, it is time to get down to business here with the first of three straight road games. This weekend FC Dallas will visit Orlando City for the lone meeting of 2017.

Both teams are coming off big wins on Wednesday night and now Oscar Pareja has some lineup questions to deal with. He managed to use a 4-3-3 with great success on Wednesday as he brought in Javier Morales into the lineup. Does he continue on with that look or does he revert back to the 4-2-3-1 and bring in someone else like Victor Ulloa or Kellyn Acosta (if he is healthy?). And even bigger question will be whether or not he brings back Walker Zimmerman to the starting defensive group.

My gut says, go with what worked and hope for the best.

Here is what we know going into the match in terms of availability:

QUESTIONABLE: Kellyn Acosta (fatigue)

LOAN: Anibal Chala (LDU Quito), Adonijah Reid (Ottawa)

INTERNATIONAL DUTY: Bryan Reynolds (U-17s World Cup)
