Squad Selection: How will FC Dallas handle all the international call ups?

Five players out on international duty could cause some big changes this weekend.

The weekend is nearly here as FC Dallas is getting set to take on the New York Red Bulls in their lone regular season match of 2017.

Both teams come into this weekend on different paths as Oscar Pareja’s side has not won in six straight games. New York on the other hand has a nice three-game unbeaten run going on.

The big thing that Pareja will have to deal with this weekend is the international window that called up five starters. Whether or not we see a mix of younger players or recent bench players will remain to be seen but this will certainly be a chance for some guys to make their mark.

Here is what we know going into the match in terms of availability:

LOAN: Anibal Chala (LDU Quito)

QUESTIONABLE: Mauro Diaz (hamstring)

INTERNATIONAL DUTY: Kellyn Acosta (United States), Matt Hedges (United States), Maynor Figueroa (Honduras), Tesho Akindele (Canada), Carlos Gruezo (Ecuador)
