Squad Selection: Is it time to play the kids against Columbus?

Would a big shake up be enough to end this skid?

MLS: Houston Dynamo at FC Dallas Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports

The month of August wraps up for FC Dallas tomorrow night as they head East to battle the Columbus Crew SC.

Both teams are entering the match on different paths as FCD has a five-game winless run to their name, while the Crew are unbeaten in their last three.

Oscar Pareja made a few big changes on Wednesday night against the Houston Dynamo, by pulling Roland Lamah into the middle of the midfield with Kellyn Acosta in a 4-1-4-1 look. As the team did do better offensively, you have to wonder if Pareja will now make some defensive adjustments going into Saturday’s game in Columbus.

The bigger question though may be whether or not he’ll roll out a few Homegrown players in this match like he did back in 2015 when they last visited Ohio. It worked then, but would it work now?

Here is what we know going into the match in terms of availability:

LOAN: Anibal Chala (LDU Quito)

QUESTIONABLE: Mauro Diaz (hamstring)

U-17 Duty: Bryan Reynolds
