Squad Selection: Any big changes for FC Dallas in San Jose?

A shorten week could spark a change or two out of Oscar Pareja.

MLS: Minnesota United FC at FC Dallas Matthew Emmons-USA TODAY Sports

FC Dallas is on another shorten week here as they have a rare Friday night game in the Silicon Valley against the San Jose Earthquakes.

Last week Oscar Pareja trotted out a different look and formation with the first start of the season for Javier Morales. He also brought in Atiba Harris and Jesse Gonzalez in the lineup changes from earlier in the week. We also saw guys like Victor Ulloa come off the bench and Anibal Chala make the bench for the first time this year.

So what does Pareja do this weekend at San Jose? Does he go back to a 4-4-2 with Cristian Colman returning to the lineup? Will Chala make his debut?

Here is what we know going into the match in terms of availability:

OUT: Mauro Diaz (Achilles)

QUESTIONABLE: Ryan Hollingshead (neck)

PROBABLE: Maxi Urruti

DALLAS CUP: Reggie Cannon, Paxton Pomykal, Jesus Ferreira

INTERNATIONAL DUTY: Bryan Reynolds
