Squad Selection: Can FC Dallas use their game-in-hand to their advantage?

A couple international call ups could make this roster selection tricky for Oscar Pareja.

FC Dallas is back out on the road again this weekend as they wrap up their season series with rivals Colorado Rapids.

Oscar Pareja has gone to a 4-3-3 look over the last couple of games with pretty good success. By putting in Javier Morales next to Mauro Diaz in the midfield, it has opened up the attack in a positive way while Carlos Gruezo has been able to lock up things defensively to keep pressure off the back four.

But the big question this weekend is how he will deal with a couple international call ups. We know Kellyn Acosta will be gone with the US team, and so will Maynor Figueroa with Honduras. Given the roster of the last two games, Figueroa will need to be replaced, likely with someone like Atiba Harris or Ryan Hollingshead. I know we’d all love to see Reggie Cannon moved in but this may not be the time for that.

Who do you put in the back this week?

Here is what we know going into the match in terms of availability:

LOAN: Anibal Chala (LDU Quito), Adonijah Reid (Ottawa)

INTERNATIONAL DUTY: Paxton Pomykal (US-18s) Bryan Reynolds (U-17s World Cup), Kellyn Acosta (USMNT), Maynor Figueroa (Honduras)
