Squad Selection: Will FC Dallas be able to surprise Seattle?

Oscar Pareja has a full roster of players to select from, but can he pick the right group for a rare win in Seattle?

MLS: FC Dallas at Colorado Rapids Ron Chenoy-USA TODAY Sports

Just two games to go for FC Dallas on this regular season slate. It won’t get any tougher than this weekend though as the team heads to Washington to battle the Seattle Sounders.

Oscar Pareja has a full lineup to select from this weekend with players returning from international duty. The big question will be does he stick with the 4-3-3 look that has brought in five points in the last three games, including two shutouts? Or does he revert back to a look that won plenty of games early in the season with a 4-4-2?

No matter the look, Dallas will need a strong defensive performance against the Sounders to stay in the playoff race. With Houston’s win on Wednesday night, the margin for error is even thinner this weekend.

Here is what we know going into the match in terms of availability:

LOAN: Anibal Chala (LDU Quito), Adonijah Reid (Ottawa), Walker Hume (Orange County)

INTERNATIONAL DUTY: Paxton Pomykal (US-18s) Bryan Reynolds (U-17s World Cup)
