Squad Selection: Who gets rested for next week’s USOC Final?

How does Oscar Pareja handle yet another quick turnaround?

MLS: Portland Timbers at FC Dallas Matthew Emmons-USA TODAY Sports

The big week for FC Dallas is finally here. Tomorrow night they host the Colorado Rapids in what could almost be a Supporters’ Shield deciding type match. Following that they will host the New England Revolution in the US Open Cup finals on Tuesday before heading to the Big Apple to battle New York City FC.

Big week, which means lots of roster decisions ahead for Oscar Pareja. We do know that Matt Hedges is alright after a brief scare in last week’s win over Portland. The veteran center back took a knock to the head but thankfully passed all the concussion protocols.

Here is what we do know going into tomorrow’s game though:

OUT: Zach Loyd (concussion)

LOAN: Moises Hernandez (Rayo OKC), Timo Pitter (Energy FC), Colin Bonner (Energy FC)

* Note: We are not including Paxton Pomykal, the club’s most recent HGP signing in this squad selection. The club has yet to announce his signing as of this writing and it is likely he will not be available to play until next season.

Let us know what you think? While the Colorado game is massively important, it may be wise to rest a guy or two for next Tuesday.
