Another 0-0 draw in the books for FC Dallas as they move back to league play this weekend.

You can’t fault Oscar Pareja for trying out a group like he did last night. Loads of reserve players that nearly came away with a win.
Between the two Carlos Ruiz misses and the call for a penalty kick late in the second half, it truly was a game of inches...and CONCACAF refs.
I’ve said it several times that I love that this has picked up here. Also got some goosebumps reminiscing the USOC win with that video at the top of this post.
On the other hand, this definitely isn’t the time of the year to go goalless. I trust everything will improve on Saturday in that department.

In our weekly Shield Watch...you can almost count Toronto out of things after this draw. Almost. They still have a lot of home games left to deal with but seeing them just get draws instead of wins has me feeling hopeful.
I’ll say it again, I don’t want to deal with Seattle in the post season.
If there was one team out of the East that I wouldn’t want to deal with at the moment, it may be DC. They’re unbeaten in eight games now.
Vancouver really didn’t have a lot of issues in their Champions League group this time around.
Another edition of this by 442 looks at the Rapids and their chances in the final month of the season. We have to be Dynamo and Timber fans for sure in the final weeks. Ew.
And for the flip side of this, a look at the Red Bull’s chances.
