Why winning the USOC is more important than you think | Big D Soccer

Sure, the order in my mind has always been MLS Cup, then Supporters Shield, then USOC. But If you have the chance to increase the trophies in your case by one, you go for it no matter what. Not to mention, it punches a CCL ticket again for the club if they win it.

Kind of crazy to see how many Dallas guys are involved in this game from both sides.

Acosta hoping to lift the USOC trophy |

Given all the hard work this club has put into the academy and HGPs, it would be special to see guys like Kellyn Acosta and Victor Ulloa win tonight.

FCD not concerned about home loss before final |

Like the players were saying yesterday, at least they didn’t have time to dwell in that loss before tonight. Sometimes quick turn arounds work in your favor.

Revs still have a shot against FCD |

It is a cup final folks, even bad teams have a good chance in games like this (remember a 3-win DCU team winning it a few years back?).

A title drought is going to end for someone tonight. You’ll hear that a bunch I’m sure.

In some ways you can see this as a slap in the face but I’m sure he meant it.

Donovan’s return reveals the lack of breakout stars in MLS |

Another good piece on Landon Donovan’s return to MLS this past week. Kind of crazy we’ll get to deal with him twice in the next month.

Shield dreams may not rest on Giovinco in Toronto | FourFourTwo

Their schedule is still really easy with all of those home games left to deal with. FCD slipping up over the weekend really opened the field back up in the Shield race.
